"I
just had to let you know that I attended my first PWN event yesterday
and the camaraderie I felt after only 20 minutes was amazing. Within
a couple of months, I will have finalized preparations for me to
quit my job and start my own business. I have already made the decision
to quit, but it's still difficult to realize that I will be working
for myself, making all the decisions.
Several ladies at my table were very encouraging, sharing stories
about when they decided to quit their jobs. After the meeting was over,
someone came up to me (I'm sorry I did not get her name) and said she
quit her job 15 years ago with no regrets. She was also very encouraging
saying "you look like you're going to be successful".
Well, you can imagine that when I left the luncheon, I was walking a least
2 feet above ground! The transition from being an employee to an employer
can be difficult but I am confident about my decision.
Lastly, I was so excited about the bag I received as a new member. It was full of little gifts. I went home and excitedly showed my husband
the contents. I still can't believe all of the goodies that were stored inside.
Thanks PWN for being a PWN!"
